NTV Radio announcer Hasan Aktaş realized an interview with our President Mr. A. Yavuz KOCAÖMER, about news related to disabled community, for the monthly newspaper “ışıltı” . The interview that our president touched on many subjects about our foundation and his experiments, has been published on the March issue of the newspaper and the web site.
18 Feb 2011 : With a ceremony realised in the Limburg Hall of the Frankfurt Municipality building, our president Mr. Yavuz Kocaömer has been given a “Germany award of Merit” by Mr. Boris Rhein as minister of state and internal affairs, representing president of Germany, Mr. Christian Wulf.
13 March 2011 Sunday, third campaigne of “lets move the disabilities” has been realised, in the show program “Turkey got talent” on Show TV, that has been prepared by one of our member of board Mr. Acun Ilıcalı. At this special program that hes been organised for the benefit of our foundation, very talented disabled individuals coming from abroad and domestic, performed their talents. At the end of this special night, help campaigne has been done for the benefit of our foundation.
29 March 2011: Our annual board meeting that should be realised every March, has been done at the Point Hotel-Barbaros.
7-24 April 2011: Fotography exhibition of Figen Çiftçi with the subject “Mosaic of religious believes” has met the art lovers at the D Block of Kadir Has University. Mrs. Figen Çiftçi who has been always our supporter presented our foundation at the exhibition.
Mr. Reha Muhtar who has leaved the TV program “Last Goal” in channel Kanalturk, left the total income of the last program for the benefit of our foundation. With this income 4 disabled athlete meet with their new prothesis.
26 April 2011 Tuesday night at 20.00, cahirman of the board of TESYEV and TMPK Mr. A Yavuz KOCAÖMER was guest of the TV program “Dialogue” on the News Channel of TGRT. Mr. Kocaömer told about the situation of the disabled people, in the program anchored by jounalists Mr. Mustafa Selçuk and Serhat İbrahimoğlu. Our president also mentioned about the works of TESYEV.
11 May 2011, Conscious Comminacation seminar about, the life style and problems of disabled individuals, has been realised at the Ayazağa Campus of the Işık High School which is connected to the foundation of Feyziye Schools. 250 students attended the seminar. Our chairman of the board Mr. Kocaömer and the visually disabled twins Kerim-Selim ALTINOK were the debaters of the seminar.
1 June 2011 Wednesday, our traditional Spring Dinner has been done, at the Sunset Grill Bar, which is famous with the magnificent scenery of İstanbul. This years guest of the dinner was the succesful member of the TV world, Mr.Beyazıt ÖZTÜRK. After the dinner, donations collected from the participants .
2 June 2011 Thursday, disabled children who got scholarship from our foundation, meet each other with their families, at the “Morale Picnic” which has been organised at the Kemer Golf Country Club facilities. 400 people joined to the picnic, including disabled children with scholarship, rehabilitation help takers and therir families.
21 – 27 Aug 2011 6th of the Kuşadası Summer Camp has been realised, which has been done with cooperation of our foundation, TESYEV and TC Prime Ministry Youth and Sports Directorate. Participatators were as, Erzincan Sümer School Youth and Sports Club, Kayseri Private İlgim School Sports Club and Private Efe School and rehabilitation center.
8 July 2011 Friday, President of the “Small World Organization” Mrs. Salam Hamzeh Ghaith, visited our foundation, and delivered the symbolic check to our president Mr. A. Yavuz KOCAÖMER. It is announced by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Share of Turkey from the collected income at the activity with the name “small world” that has been organised bey UAE High Education and Scientific Research Ministry, was left to our foundation by the suggesttion of our UAE ambassador.
Our national swimmer Derya Büyükuncu will participate our project with TESYEV, for the preperation disabled swimmers for the paralympic games. The aim of the planned project, that will be realised by our foundation with the support of TESYEV and sponsors, is to prepare the disabled athletes within the ages 8-12 for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.
24 Sep – 1 Oct 2011: Third International Paralympic Youth Summer Camp activity has been done in Netherlands, which of the first one was in Marmaris Turkey at the year 2009, second was in South Korea last year.
The book of Mr. Cahit Kocaömer, who may be named as the Veteran Of Banking after 60 years under the roof of Is Bank, with the name “60 years in İs Bank – Fight / Memories“, published by Doğan Bookhouse. Total income of the book about the memories of the legend general manager, was left to our foundation TESYEV.
17 Nov 2011 Thursday, with the press conference organised at the Cırağan Palace, sponsorship contract was signed between BP and our foundation TESYEV and TMPK. BP will be supporting for 5 years until the end of 2016, Turkish National Paralympic team. With this contract signed betwwen TESYEV-TPMK abd BP, BP will be supporting the successes of our National Paralympic Team.
22 Nov 2011 Tuesday night a magnificent ball was organised in Cıragan Palace , to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the establishment of our foundation TESYEV. 450 guests of the who are the members of businness, culture and sport world of Turkey attended the ball besides our members of board. Mr. Erol Evgin performed his very loved songs, following Couture Fashion Show of our member and Head of Ball Organisation comittee, Mrs. Siren Ertan Çarmıklı.
17 Dec 2011 Saturday, at 14.00 , our President of TESYEV and TMPK , Mr. A.Yavuz KOCAÖMER, has been guest to the TV program “sport pleasure” of channel Skyturk. Mr. Kocaömer answered the questions of Mehmet Ayan, Mustafa Sapmaz and the anchor of the program Mr. Seyhan Şaşko, about the situation of disabled sports activities in our country.
Students of Hisar Education Foundation, again didnt leave us alone this year, and visited our foundation. With this visitation, they ask questions of their wonders about the disabled people, get knowladge about their situation and share these informations with their school friends.
Our chaplet acceptance works are still on going for your, happy and sorrowfull days.
Support works has been done and are still on going for the needer disabled individuals and federated sport clubs according to their needs.
Our President Mr. A.Yavuz KOCAÖMER supports the disabled people, with his writings, at Posta Newspaper with his corner named as “çengelli iğne” every Monday, besides his writings in the sport pages of the newspaper Milliyet every Saturdays.
